New Village Press

New Village Press is a national publishing project of ADPSR. New Village publications address topics such as youth justice, community gardens, and community-based arts, spanning the fields of social justice, architecture and planning, economic development, ecology, and urban culture.

Prison Design Boycott

Launched in 2004, ADPSR's Prison Design Boycott calls on architects and design professionals to not participate in the design, construction, or renovation of prisons.

Lewis Mumford Awards

In 1992, ADPSR instituted an annual Lewis Mumford awards program to honor people and organizations that exemplify ADPSR's goals of peace, preservation of the natural and built environment, and socially responsible development.
